CASP DBE Goal FY21-23

Colorado Air and Space Port hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 1.2% for FAA-funded contracts/agreements. The proposed goal pertains to federal fiscal years 2021 through 2023. Construction Begins on 18 New Hangars at CASP

Construction started last month on the 18 new hangars to be built near the fuel pumps and FBO. Completion for the first of three buildings will be by the end of November with the second and third buildings to be completed within weeks thereafter. Reaction Engines Begins Construction of High-Temperature Airflow Test Facility in Colorado

Reaction Engines, Inc. has begun construction of a new high-temperature airflow test facility where it plans to validate the performance of its precooler heat exchanger technology, an enabler of its revolutionary SABRETM engine. Located at the Front Range Airport near Watkins, Colorado, the test facility will be capable of exposing the precooler test article (HTX) to high-temperature airflow conditions in excess of 1800°F (1000°C) that are expected during high-speed flights up to Mach 5.
