Jeff Kloska Named Director of Colorado Air and Space Port

Jeff Kloska has been named Director of Colorado Air and Space Port. Kloska will begin Monday, January 10.

“Jeff has an extensive background in aviation and business management, which makes him an excellent choice for this position,” said Alisha Reis, Interim County Manager. “There’s so much potential at  Colorado Air and Space Port and we’re excited to have someone with Jeff’s experience help shape its future.”

CASP and International Partnerships Featured on CBS 4 Denver

Colorado Air and Space Port is getting some air time on CBS 4 Denver today as the channel featured CASP's international partnerships with the U.K.'s Reaction Engines, Japan's PD AeroSpace, and Dawn Aerospace in New Zealand. Space Port Director Dave Ruppel is interviewed along with Adam Dissel, President of Reaction Engines.

PD AeroSpace, LTD. and Colorado Air and Space Port Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

PD AeroSpace, LTD. (PDAS) and Colorado Air and Space Port (CASP) have entered into an MOU, which lays out a series of future interactions that are mutually expected to occur between the two entities, but are not legally binding. Future actions include PDAS establishing a United States (U.S.) presence at CASP, working with CASP to create a relationship with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and eventually conducting test flights and evaluations.

Hypersonic Drone Startup Inks Rocket Testing Agreement with Colorado Air and Space Port

Colorado Air and Space Port (CASP) is excited to announce its next aerospace partner in New Frontier Aerospace (NFA), a California company with a mission to make rocket-powered transportation usable and practical across several fields, including medical, military, and home delivery. NFA announced its new partnership with CASP in a press release on Sept. 2.

CASP DBE Goal FY21-23

Colorado Air and Space Port hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 1.2% for FAA-funded contracts/agreements. The proposed goal pertains to federal fiscal years 2021 through 2023. Construction Begins on 18 New Hangars at CASP

Construction Begins on 18 New Hangars at CASP

Construction started last month on the 18 new hangars to be built near the fuel pumps and FBO. Completion for the first of three buildings will be by the end of November with the second and third buildings to be completed within weeks thereafter.
