What happens to leftover deposit money?
Any deposit money not credited toward winning bids will be returned to the bidder approximately two weeks after the close of the auction.

What types of payments can be made?
Only current year tax payments will be accepted.
What time of the year can I make a payment with my credit card?
Payments will be accepted from February 1st through August 31st each year. To confirm the correct amount due, please visit the Adams County Treasurer's payment web sitewww.adcotax.com.
What information will I need to have available to make a credit card payment?
Name, mailing address, phone number, credit card number, credit card expiration date, TAX ID number and zip code of the property the payment will be applied to.
Is there a fee? If so, how much?
Yes, there is a 2.5% fee on the tax amount for credit cards and a flat fee of $2.50 for e-check. The fees post separately in your bank account. For example, if your taxes are $1,000 the convenience fee will be $25.00 for a credit card and $2.50 for an e-check. Fees are non-refundable for duplicate entries.
Do I receive confirmation of my credit card payment?
No, a copy of the receipt can be viewed and printed by signing back into your account. The receipt is located in the left column under Payment Receipt. A pdf document will be generated for viewing and printing.
How can I confirm that my payment was processed correctly?
You may go to the Property Taxes Database on the Adams County Treasurer's home page (Pay your Taxes) or at www.adcotax.com to confirm your property tax payment has been posted to your account. Credit cards can take up to 72 hours to be posted to your credit card account and an e-check up to a week.
What if my payment does not appear on my credit card statement and/or the Treasurer's Office does not receive the payment?
