The Information Technology (ITi) & Innovation Department works to:

• Assist the Board of County Commissioners and elected officials in evaluating proposals, budgets, technical plans and strategies developed by the service provider in conjunction with the governance committee;
• Develop and monitor policies and procedures performed by the service provider for the safekeeping, maintenance and repair of county-owned computer assets;
• Evaluate and monitor the adequacy of security over access to and protection of all county data;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of achieving the goals and objectives as agreed upon in the strategic planning process.
